Village Green Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Newaygo, Michigan.
Village Green Golf Course first opened for play in 1950 as a 9-hole golf course. The back nine was added in 2003 and was designed by Larry Ranger.
The front nine at Village Greens is an older country course with maddening greens requiring tight placement drives. Mostly tree trouble. The newer back nine poses a different set of problems. The greens stretch out but refuse to hold, making them inviting targets that you, more often than not, walk past to get to your ball. That is unless it drops in the back nine's larger sand traps. The fairways are groomed more on the back, and the landscaping is more contrived than on the wider front.
Village Green Golf Course plays to a par of 70 and 5,638 yards from the longest tees.

village Green is actually an 18 hole public course not a 9 as mentioned in course description. Staff is very friendly and the course was in really good condition for this time of year. pace of play was great and other golfers were respectful and let me play through.
